On September 15, the certification awarding ceremony was held for Bamo Technology (Hungary) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Huayou Hungary Bamo"), a subsidiary of Huayou Cobalt Industry. This marks Huayou Hungary Bamo as the first Chinese-funded enterprise in Hungary to pass the dual certifications of ISO 37301 Compliance Management System and ISO 37001 Anti-Bribery Management System, showcasing Huayou's leadership in compliance management within the new energy lithium battery materials sector.
Paul Atkinson, Senior Manager of the Automotive Industry for BSI (British Standards Institution) in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, noted that amidst globalization and anti-globalization tensions, corporate operations are shifting from shareholder capitalism to stakeholder capitalism, with "compliance" becoming a core concern for governments and enterprises worldwide. This certification will further strengthen Huayou Cobalt Industry's and Huayou Hungary Bamo's international compliance management capabilities, driving sustainable development in the industry.
Moving forward, Huayou Hungary Bamo will adhere to higher standards to align with EU and local compliance requirements, implementing concrete measures to deepen its compliance management system. Positioned in the European market, the company will engage in open collaboration with customers, regulatory authorities, and partners across sectors to jointly build a healthy, transparent, and sustainable compliance ecosystem, contributing Huayou's strength to the high-quality, sustainable development of the new energy lithium battery industry.
