In August, the Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI) official website announced that Huafei Nickel Cobalt (Indonesia) Co., Ltd. had successfully passed the Responsible Minerals Assurance Process (RMAP) audit. Huafei has become an Indonesian smelting enterprise conducting due diligence management on nickel and cobalt mineral supply chains and passing the RMAP audit.
RMI's website confirmed Huafei as a compliant and responsible mineral enterprise for the 2025-2026 period. Founded in 2008 through collaboration between the Responsible Business Alliance and the Global e-Sustainability Initiative, RMI now includes over 500 companies and associations from 10+ industries worldwide. The RMAP is a globally recognized audit program for responsible mineral procurement, assessing companies' supply chain management systems.
This certification marks international recognition of Huafei's compliance in responsible mineral supply chain management. It supports the company's ability to provide compliant, high-quality products/services to global clients and strengthens its market expansion.
