On January 6th, the Chairman of Indonesia's Investment and Downstream Industry Ministry and the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM), Rosan Perkasa Roeslani, along with Deputy Minister Nurul Ichwan, visited the Huafei and Huaneng projects at the Weda Bay Industrial Park in Indonesia for inspection and exchange. Gao Baojun, Senior Vice President of the Group and President of Indonesia Nickel Industry Group, warmly received them on behalf of the company.

The visiting delegation toured the control center, high-pressure acid leaching workshop of the Huafei project, as well as the exhibition hall, quality inspection center, main control center, and production workshops of the Huaneng project. They gained a detailed understanding of the latest progress in process flow, technology application, production scale, output capacity, and ESG construction at Huayou's integrated green manufacturing base for lithium battery materials in Weda Bay, Indonesia.

Chairman Rosan extended his warm congratulations on the completion and operation of Huayou's first integrated green manufacturing base in Indonesia. He praised Huayou's leading position in process technology, intelligent production lines, and modern factory performance. He emphasized that the success of these projects not only demonstrates the competitiveness of Chinese enterprises in the global market but also injects new vitality into Indonesia's economic development and talent cultivation.

Gao Baojun welcomed the visit by Chairman Rosan and expressed sincere gratitude to the Indonesian government for its ongoing support for various projects invested and constructed by Huayou in Indonesia. He stated that the successful implementation of Huayou's projects in Indonesia would not have been possible without strong governmental backing. In the future, Huayou is committed to making even greater contributions to the local economy and social development in Indonesia.

This inspection not only deepened the Indonesian government's understanding of Huayou's integrated green manufacturing base for new energy lithium battery materials in Indonesia but also further consolidated the cooperative relationship between both parties. Huayou will continue to uphold the philosophy of innovation, green development, and sustainability, actively promoting more high-quality projects to take root in Indonesia, contributing to the economic cooperation and development between the two countries.
