Taiyuan Energy Low Carbon Development Forum 2023 was convened recently. During the seminar, it unveiled "Top 500 Global New Energy Enterprises", Huayou Cobalt grabbed the 29th spot, galloping far ahead of its rivalries in global new energy industry. 

Huayou Cobalt was put in the list for the first time in 2017, ranking 233rd, and has been on the list for seven consecutive years. Its position moved up by 204 compared with its first involvement, while rising by 38 from its previous place in 2022. 

Its evident escalation in the ranking also verifies the company's steady pace of high-quality development. Based on its annual report 2016, by the end of 2022, the past six years witnessed that Huayou Cobalt's revenue surged by 11.89 times, its total assets spiked by 9.43 times, and its net profit attributable to the parent company skyrocketed by as high as 55.67 times. 

Since its engagement in new undertaking and implementation of "Two New Areas and Three Trends" development strategy, as well as execution of "trinity" transformation and upgrading since 2016, Huayou Cobalt paid close attention to industrial transformation for new energy vehicles, keeping pace with the times of electric vehicles, delivering colossal achievements in the course of industrial updates, strategic planning, as well as transformation and upgrading. On occasion of the company's 20th anniversary, Huayou Cobalt has became one of top 500 China's private companies, and it is now developing into a powerhouse with robust customer confidence, firm industry attention and high social reputation.

"Global Top 500 New Energy Enterprises" is an authoritative research and evaluation which was jointly put forward by both China Energy News and China Institute of Energy Economics Research targeting the new energy industry, and has been successfully held for 12 times since 2011.
